
Rahmon Wasiu, The Missing Member Of Yoruba Nation agitator
Thursday, July 8, 2021, will forever be a sad day to the family of Rahmon Mufutau Damilare, of Owu, Osun State, because this was the day when one of their illustrious children was shot died while the whereabout of the another remain on known till now.
It was gathered that on the mentioned date, unknown gunmen, stormed and attacked the family house of Alhaji Rahmon Mufutau Damilare, in desperate search for one of his children, named Wasiu Rahmon, who was said to be a member of Sunday Igboho’s Yoruba Nation agitation group, Owu, Osun State, branch.
During the said attack, it was gathered that Wasiu’s sister, Aminat Adejoke, lost her life, as a result gun shot from the unknown gunmen,while Wasiu disappeared to tiny air and his whereabouts remains unknown till today.

A resident of Owu community in Osun state, Mr Sanni Dare, who spoke with journalists on the ugly incident said: “on 8 of July 2021, unknown gunmen attacked the family house of Alhaji Rahmon looking for his son Wasiu Rahmon, who was a member of Sunday igboho resistance group, agitating for Yoruba nation, because of how the Fulani oppression was taking over their farms and killing their people and nothing was done by the authorities.
“So Wasiu Rahmon join the group and became a member of Owu, Osun state branch. That faithful day, Thursday 8, July, we started hearing gun shots from the residence of Alhaji Rahmon, it was a very terrible day and the shooting lasted for about 45 minutes.
“later, after the unknown gunmen left, people started trooping to Alhaji Rahmon’s house and on getting there we found the body of Wasiu’s elder sister, Rahmon Aminat Adejoke, on the floor in the pool of her blood lying dead, while the rest of the family were nowhere to be found. So we the community members gathered to bury her the next morning, which was Friday, 9 July, 2021.
“However, as it’s now, the whereabout of Wasiu and others still remain unknown to us.”
