COVID-19: Somolu LG Supervisor Reaches Out to Constituents

The Somolu Local Government Supervisor for Agriculture and Community Affairs, Oseni Adewale Oladimeji, has gave out some palliative measure to the residents of his ward.

Oseni popularly called Doctor, in a chat with newsdishng.com said the measure was borne out of his love for the vulnerable members of his consistency.

Oseni, an awardee of United Nation’s Peace Ambassador and President of Westend International Youth Organization (Worldwide) said: “I decided to give a hand of support and relief inform of food stuff, both cooked and uncooked, to the vulnerable people and children living within my ward (Somolu Ward F) comprises of  Bajulaye; Fola Agoro; Morocco; Okeola and by extension to some part of Somolu LGA in general, since the starting of Covid-19 lockdown directive and sit at home order.

“This gesture is just to compliment what the Lagos State government, our Council Chairman, Honourable Ahmed Salawu and our indefatigable lawmaker, Honourable Olowo Rotimi have been doing in bringing succour and relief to the people of this local government”.

Oseni commended the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, especially, Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, for steadfastness shown in containing the deadly virus.

He also advised his constituents to strictly adhere to the rules set out by the government in fight against the disease.

“I salute the efforts of the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, especially, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, the honourable Minister of interior for their steadfastness and love for Nigerians at this trying period.

“I also wants to advice my people adhere strictly to the rules of hygiene, washing of our hands regularly with soap, stay away from people’s gathering, uses face mask and visit hospital if having any symptoms. And I wants them to know that Covid19 is not a death sentence but a curable disease and one can avoid it if we are careful”.
