“The CHSR understand and feels the genuineness of the true protesters, who are complaining of the brutality, unwarranted harassment and killings of innocent Nigerians by some men and officers of the disbanded Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) all over the country.

“The organisers of the #EndSARS protest with a very good and germaine intentions for a better society and the protest was very peaceful as the organizers conducted themselves in a very good manners before the protest was hijacked  by some hoodlums and miscreants who launched  attack on the protesting youths in Lagos and Abuja.

“The shooting and attack of any form on the harmless and peaceful protesters is unconstitutional, unlawful, undemocratic and unacceptable.

“The Lekki Tollgate protest ground, has been the adjudged the most organized and peaceful protest ground all over the country, therefore the attackers and their sponsors does not have any moral justifications to defend the shooting on that Tuesday, October 20, 2020 night.

“The declaration of a 24-hour curfew by the Lagos state governor around 12noon of October 20, 2020 and expecting the commencement of the curfew by 4pm on same day, alleged turning off of the street light and the allegation of removing the CCTV camera at the Tollgate few minutes before  the invasion by some armed military men shooting at the armed less protesters holding the Nigeria flags must be duly investigated because it sound conspiracy.
