In the spirit of the season, a Non-governmental Organization (NGO), the Sam Anisulowo Foundation (SAF) recently reached out to over 1000 individuals, as it gave them some food items, as part of its philanthropic initiative aimed at making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable members of the Ado community, Ekiti State.
The gesture according to Sam Anisulowo, the Founder of SAF, is to alleviate the challenges faced by the beneficiaries, who include; the widows, the aged, and less privileged individuals, SAF has donated essential food items to 1,000 recipients.
Anisulowo also said that the event was not only served as a means of addressing immediate nutritional needs but also fostered a sense of community and solidarity.
Anisulowo further stated that the initiative aligns with SAF’s commitment to promoting social welfare and enhancing the well-being of the most vulnerable members of Ekiti State. Beyond addressing immediate needs of the people the occasion served as a beacon of community spirit and solidarity.
The event was held at the SAF office located in Adamolekun Estate, Ado Ekiti, where beneficiaries gathered to receive the generous contributions from the foundation.
Food items distributed at the event includes; rice, beans, cooking oil, and other essential items to ensure a well-rounded support for the recipients.
Speaking further about the foundation’s dedication to social responsibility, Dr. Anisulowo, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to give back to the community. “At SAF, we believe in the power of collective effort to create positive change. It is our duty to uplift those facing economic hardships, and this donation is a step towards building a more resilient and caring community.
“The foundation acknowledges the support and collaboration of volunteers, and partners who contributed to the success of this initiative. Their collective efforts have made it possible for SAF to extend a helping hand to those in need,” he said.
