Gadzama SAN, Tasks Lawyers’ Forum On Pursuit Of Goals
Chief Joe-Kyari Gadzama, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) has encouraged members of the Surulere Lawyers’ Forum (SLF) to be united in the pursuit of the goals and objectives for the forum.
Chief Gadzama (SAN) said it is only through unity that the Forum can achieve it’s purposes, while also implored them not to relent in playing their critical roles in the affairs of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) both in Lagos State and at National level.
The senior lawyer gave the advice when he attended the the Forum’s February monthly meeting, held on February 16. The Forum which he is an elder and oldest member.
It would be recalled that Chief Gadzama (SAN) was formerly admitted as a member of SLF last year, after the Forum welcomed him with open arms.
It is important to state that SLF whose membership cuts across tribes and tongues in Nigeria was founded in 2006 by its pioneer Chairman, Hon. (Chief) V.U.K Iyanam (former Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice, Akwa-Ibom State) and consists of legal practitioners who live and or practice within Surulere.
After the forum’s meeting, the elder statesman was called upon to coordinate the cutting of cake in celebration of members whose birthdays fall within the month of love.
In his remarks Gadzama encouraged members to be united in the pursuit of the goals and objectives of SLF as the Forum can achieve a lot when in unity.
In attendance with Chief J-K Gadzama, SAN was Mr. Mela Nunghe, SAN, Messrs John Unachukwu Austin Esq, former publicity Secretary of the NBA and Oluniyi Adediji Esq, Partner, J-K Gadzama LLP, Lagos Office.
SLF is one of the well coordinated and organised lawyers’ fora in Nigeria and has been growing in leaps and bounds since its establishment.
