Iru/Victoria Island LCDA Boss, Adu, Bags 2020 Grassroot Achiever’s Award

The council chairman of Iru/Victoria Island Local Council Development Area, Lagos State, Honourable Rasheedat Abiodun Adu, has been honoured with the 2021 Grassroots Achiever Award, by the Great Achievers’ World.

The team said the award on the council boss was based on her pedigree and valued ladden performances in her office.    

The award presenter, Mrs. Inemesit  Ebu, Publisher of Great Achievers’ World, said the reason for the selection in a program tagged “Top ten  Local Government Executives in Lagos State”. 

She said her editors have carried out fact finding mission on the council boss, Hon. Rasheedat Abiodun Adu’s achievements since the commencement of her tenure. Adding that the criteria for chosen her for the award are excellent performance in Environment, Empowerment, Health, Roads, Education among others.   

 
The award was received on behalf of the council boss by the Council Manager, Mr Olarenwaju Olalere Fatai. 

Mr. Fatai appreciated the Publisher for bestowing her boss with the award. While emphatically stated that “this positive appraisal will vigorously propel the Awardee to commit more energy and wherewithal in meeting up the needs of her constituents”.  

Olarenwaju said the award will also serve as springboard to higher level and plus in the second term bid because she is now more resolute, determined and result- oriented. He promised to convey the Publisher’s message to the Chairman about the organization’s values. 

Present at the award presentation are: Secretary to the Local Government (SLG) Hon Taofeek Afolabi; P.A/CPS to the Chairman, Miss Kausara Olaleye; Head, Public Affairs unit, Mr Olaniyi Idowu and the Publisher’s Staff were Head of Special Projects, Mr Emmanuel Ukpong and Circulation Manager, Mr Dennis Ojeabu
