‘Northerners Are Loyal To Tinubu, Nothing Like Labour Party In Kebbi’, Says Awatu Sulaimon

A female President of New Reformation Unity Forum (NRUF) from Kebbi State, Awatu Sulaimon, has said that the Northerner are behind Tinubu, and that the Labour party is not anyway close to rival with Asiwaju in all indices in Kebbi state.  

Awatu made this declaration while speaking with the journalists, during the forum’s stakeholders meeting held in Lagos over the weekend.

Awatu a Southwest female president of the forum said; “our former leader whom we started the struggle together in 2019 Mutiu, left to join the Labour party due to some reasons of his personal interest.

“He has his own interest within Ikeja LGA in Lagos state. I am in Kebbi State. Kebbi State doesn’t have Labour party in the State. So for me to break my political career in Kebbi state and follow Labour Party is not possible. 

“That is why we are here today to discuss a new name for NRUF. Falola Olayinka is our new National coordinator, we want him to rescue us so that our labour will not go on vain since 2019.

“Northerners are loyal to Tinubu. Tinubu has done a lot for the Northerners and this is a pay back time and we are going to pay back Tinubu he is going to be our next President come 2023 Insha Allah”. Awa said.

The forum convener, Falola Olayinka, said “NRUF is not about 2023 alone, it is meant to project us beyond 2023. To build a network of people, to come together to realize the goals to promote the greatness of the country. We have to prepare ourselves for the next phase of leadership as a Think tank.”
