Rotarian Muyideen Asanike And Mrs. Omolola Essien, Presenting The Educational Materials & Others To The School Principal
In line with the basic education and literacy programme of Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Lagos Mainland, has donated branded Rotary educational materials, Toilet, buckets and waste bins to St. Peter’s Catholic Primary School in Lagos Mainland Local Government Area of the State.
The Club President, Muyideen Adewale Asanike, disclosed that the donation was in line with their basic education and literacy programme for primary school students.

He said the Rotary Club have other areas of focus, adding that donation was one of them so as to encourage the young ones to be future leaders.
“We are contributing to the development of these students and also compliment the efforts of government as it cannot do everything alone.

“Dear District Governor, Rotarian Omotunde Lawson, IPDG Remi Bello, PDG here present. The educational secretary, and fellow Imaginative Rotarians, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you all to the commissioning of this new toilet building at the St. Peter’s Catholic primary School.
“Today, we are honored to have with us our esteemed District Governor, who has had to squeeze out time from her busy schedule to join us for this special occasion.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to the Rotary Global Grant WASH Project committee for the important role they played in making this occasion a reality.
“As Rotarians, we believe in the power of service above self. We recognize the importance of investing in our communities and creating sustainable solutions that benefit those in need.
“This toilet building will not only provide a safe and hygienic environment for the students and staff of the §school, but it will also contribute to their overall health and well-being.
“I would like to extend my warmest thanks to all those who have worked tirelessly to bring this project to fruition.”
The Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mrs Omolola Essien, advised the pupils to make judicious use of the facility, adding that it was an innovative idea by the rotary club.
