Voters’ Registration: Ogun cancels July’s Environmental Sanitation Exercise

In an effort to ensure that residents of Ogun State full participated in the ongoing voters registration exercise, the State government has cancelled this month’s Environmental Sanitation Exercise billed for Saturday 30th July 2022 in all the 29 Local Government Areas of the State.

The State government in a statement issued by Engineer Rasak Olabode Ojetola, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment and emailed to this medium by Mr. Rotimi Oduniyi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of the Environment, stated that this is to allow residents of the State to participate in the ongoing National Voters Registration Exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

The State government therefore called on all the residents of the State who are yet to register or misplace their voters card or might need to travel to their wards, constituencies and local governments to perfect their Permanent Voters Registration or transfer their cards are free to do so without hindrance.

Engineer Ojetola, said the sanitation exercise will resume next month.
