A Police officer and legal practitioner attached to to Legal/Prosecution Section of Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex, Alagbon-Ikoyi, Lagos, Barrister Morufu Ajani Animashaun, has again been honoured for his diligent and excellent works in the Nigeria Police, as a lawyer.
Animashaun who has been honoured both for defending the police as well prosecuting the offenders, recently honoured with “Best Prosecutor for the year 2024.”
The 2024 award, which was the third time for his outstanding roles, was bestowed on him last Thursday, December 5, 2024, by the Crime Reporters Association of Nigeria (CRAN)
In 2018, Barrister Animashaun was given excellent award in Police Legal Duties. He was also decorated with an award tagged “Excellent in Police Legal Service” in 2021. And 2024, his excellent work was applauded, and he was awarded Best Prosecutor of the Year.
It was not the only CRAN that sees his excellent and diligent work, barrister Animashaun was given Merit award in 2018 by the Scholars Universal Nursery and Primary School.
He was also commended by the National Association of Judiciary Correspondents (NAJUC) in 2019, he was recognised for his service to humanity, awarded Best Criminal Prosecutor of the Year.
In 2021 aside the CRAN award, the astute lawyer bags three more. The World Organisation of Ambassadors gave him award as a Global Peace Ambassador 2021.
For City Pride Achievers, he was awarded as Outstanding “Legal Icon of the year 2021” and also presented with a “Certificate of Commendation” by an Assistant Inspector General (AIG), Usman Al- Hassan Belel, the former AIG in-charge of ForceCID (Annex) Alagbon, Ikoyi, on behalf of Mr. Usman Alkali Baba, the former Nigeria’s Inspector-General of Police (IGP).
Meanwhile, the industrious and diligent lawyer, Animashaun has been pencil down for numerous award in late December 2024..
