CCBNaija: Funky Mallam Goes Political As Ruggedman, Rosie Fell Out On Site, As Teddy Turns Prayer Warrior, leads Colleagues in praying for Nkechi Blessing’s Safety

Popular Nollywood Actor, Saeed Muhammad a.k.a. Funky Mallam, has made an ethnic appeal to Hausa-speaking audience and northerners generally to embrace him as their sole candidate and keep voting for him to win the 5-Bedroom Duplex in Lekki worth N120 million, all expense paid trip to Dubai, and more in the ongoing Celebrity Come Build Naija Reality Show (CCBNaija).

Statement by Theresa Moses, the CCBNaija’s Media Co-ordinator, quoted the Funky Mallam saying: “The N120 million might not be enough for my comfort, especially in this crisis that we are in but I need it to support myself, family and well-wishers at the same time because when you have a lot, definitely you can help more people. I’m somebody that’s willing to go out and see that people are not crying for pain, especially what we are facing in this country. 

“Truth is you need to get more money to be able to rescue people”, he said.

He also appealed to his followers and audience to capitalize on the popularity and love among the Northerners to keep voting for him to win the grand prize, saying: “I want to make my people proud”.

Activities at the site of the Celebrities’ competition kicked off with a prayer session led by Teddy A, who turned a prayer warrior. He led his colleagues in praying for Nkechi Blessing’s safety from any attack, following recent threat against the versatile actress. “Anybody that wants to bring you down shall be brought down,” Amen, they chorused.

Activities at the site got more intense as the “loved up couple,”Rosie and Ruggedman had a heated up argument about Tuesday’s tasks. Ruggedman wanted to handle electrification/wiring while Rosie wanted tiling but ended up interfering with Ruggedman’s task. The team leader, Funky Mallam, waded in and settled the issue by allowing Ruggedman to handle his task of wiring. Rosie wasn’t pleased with the judgment. In an attempt to make her happy, Ruggedman and Funky Mallam started singing “Can I have a dance with you Rosie….”instead of Lucy, which got Rosie more upset and ended up spoiling her day.

Equally of note is the concept of one lucky fan with the highest vote standing a chance of winning a 3-Bedroom Bungalow built by the celebrities. As a fan, the more votes you cast for your favourite celebrities the better your chance of winning the prize.
