Command Day Jos Old Students Celebrate 2022 Reunion

The Prestigious Command Day Secondary School, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment, Rukuba, Jos, Plateau state (formerly Rukuba Military Cantonment) Old students association, Lagos state chapter is set to celebrate the 2022 reunion in grand style as they honour old teachers, students and distinguished personalities in various walks of life at the weekend.

Emmanuel Onyeme, Lagos Chapter Caretaker Committee Chairman said that among the cardinal objectives of Ex-Commandos Association of Command Day Secondary School Jos, is “giving back to our alma mater by executing projects with proceeds generated from the reunion/award ceremony”.

The chairman also appealed to all old students popularly called Ex-Commandos to come out en masse and take part in the activities marking the reunion including visitation on Friday, February 25, 2022 to Command Day Secondary School Ikeja by 10:00am to speak with students in the Senior Secondary Class on career path, growth, motivation and presentation of gifts at the school assembly hall. Thereafter, they will proceed to Oregun Juvenile Corrective Home to present gift items to them.

On Saturday, February 26, 2022, by 10:00am the Reunion/Award Ceremony will hold at the school assembly hall of Command Day Secondary School Ikeja, inside Ikeja Cantonment with presentation of awards to old teachers, students of the school and deserving Nigerians who have contributed immensely to humanity and the education sector.

In a press statement signed and released to this medium by the Publicity Secretary of the Association, Theresa Moses, stated that the dress code for Friday activities is the association’s muffler on T-shirt and jeans while on Saturday is the customized association reunion shirt on black jeans or trouser. She enjoined all Ex-commandos at home and abroad to “actively take part in these activities as we seek to rejuvenate the CDSSJ tradition” in what has been planned as the biggest reunion celebration.
