“But this time around, because of the effect of the subsidy removal, we feel a lot of our people will not be able to afford transportation fare to come to the local government. This predicated why we come all the way from the council to near and remote areas in Ikosi Isheri to distribute this food items.

“People come all the way from Arepo, some will come from Ajegunle Ikorodu side. This time we said no, we will be going to them from the council to get the palliative across simply because my heart is where my community is”. She said.

“The intervention has been amazing, even before my arrival I knew it is going to be something massive that is why am here. Am always there to support people that truly give out not just playing to the gallery or because what people would say.

“You can see the excitement on the faces of people. This is for everybody who is hungry, we are not selective in picking beneficiaries. There is a lot of challenges happening now,” he said.
