Socialite Who Gift Petrol As Souvenir At Party Arraigned

Lagos socialite, Ms. Ogbulu Chindinma Pearl has been arraigned today, before Chief Magistrate Kehinde Ogundare at the Special Offences (Mobile) Court sitting at Oshodi.

Ogbulu was arraigned on a four (4) count charge of distributing Premium Motor Spirit (PMS ) a.k.a Petrol as souvenir during her installation party on March 5, 2022, at Havillah Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos.

The offences according to Lagos State  violated sections 251(1), 168 (1), 244 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015 and Section 195 (2)(b) of the Environmental Management Protection Law of Lagos State 2017.

The defendant was granted bail upon pleaded not guilty to the charges in the sum of of N2 million with two responsible sureties in like sum. 

The sureties must have their address verified and must have evidence of three years tax payment.

Ogbulu’s trial has been adjourned till March 24, 2022..
